Afterthought, what the free speech warriors seem to forget that even if you allow Donald Trump and Alex Jones back you still need content moderation. I love a good flame war as much as the next person but I'm not terribly fond auto-play videos of animal cruelty or gratuitous violence beheadings etc and neither are advertisers.

Rather complete exhaustive analysis of Elon Musk! Elon is a unique figure for many reasons. But fundamentally Elon is about what's good for Elon. Believe the move to Twitter is a move to try to resolve his conflicted ego with his public persona. He's smart like a fox and understands how the games are played. Just cannot fall into the trap of viewing Elon as our modern Thomas Paine, advocate of free speech. Elon is many things but our savior he is not. Twitter has followed a losing business model - no reason to thing that has changed.
